King of Larsa (1865-1860). His inscriptions emphasise building activity in Ur, Eridu and Larsa made necessary after the calamitous change in the course of the Euphrates. It was the king's responsibility to take countermeasures and reroute the river, resettle the temporarily displaced populace and rebuild the damaged civic structures and temples. Much of these works were continued and completed by his son and successor Sin-Iddinam (Leick, Who's Who in the Ancient Near East, p. 124).
